Homework... Yay or Nay?

First of all, before I start, WELCOME BACK! My, doesn't time fly! It's been two months since my last post.

I'm sure the title of this blog tells you all what I'm gonna tell you today. I'm sure you will be thinking, what, who likes homework?! What kind of stupid blog is this? Calm down, I'm not saying I like homework either, I'm only tring to figure out whether we are going to school merely to do homework and pass examinations or gain knowledge? Well, let me tell you something. Teachers nowadays give us too much of homework, and we don't even know what we are doing half of the time. Worse still, teachers make us copy passages from textbooks, claiming that we will only remember stuffs we're supposed to know when we copy.

Pure nonsense if I've heard any. When we copy, we are only copying for the sake of copying, not even reading what we're copying. 'Cuz well, if we read what we are writing, it will take up a lot of time! Teachers should actually give us excercises that are done in the classroom, then give us a few more as homework so that we remember what we've learnt. I mean, that makes sense, right? What's the use of doing homework when we don't understand what we've learnt?

I hope you have enjoyed my post. Don't forget to leave comments!!

Do Rich Kids Have Dreams?

First of all, I would like to say, welcome back after a long time of not seeing my posts since December. Or to be more precise, Christmas.

So, as written in the title, today I'm gonna write on this topic: Do Rich Kids Have Dreams? Now, I have many friends who live in comfortable houses, not too big or too small, but some of my friends' house are, how should we put it, bigger than you will ever imagine. They have a swimming pool in their backyard, a music room and sometimes even a gym room. Now, I'm not saying that I'm jealous or anything, but every time I hang out with my friends, I can't help noticing that my richer friends tend to take things for granted. For example, their pocket money. That I can't blame them, since they are already defined as "rich".

Also, they take their belongings for granted. After all, who cares if they break their IPhones? They can always get a new one almost immediately after they break it. But this is the main issue: Since they can get anything they want, do they even need to dream? They needn't worry about getting a job after graduating from university. After all, there will always be a job waiting for them at their family's company. And what about us, the ones without any family companies to support us? We shall have to struggle to make ends meet, and even worst things might turn up if we can't find a job.

True, some people don't depend on their family companies to survive, but who gives them the money to start their own company? It's practically the same thing, except that now they have their own company and need to start making deals of their own.

Thus my conclusion, rich kids do have dreams, except that almost every time their dreams are not fulfilled, since they have so many to choose from, and since they have their families to back them up.
